Dave Bimschleger Named President of Raymarine, Inc

Raymarine, a world leader in marine electronics, today announced that Dave Bimschleger has been named president of Raymarine, Inc. Bimschleger will lead the company's American operations, bringing more than 27 years of experience in consumer products and B2B sales to the position. Since joining the company as senior vice president of sales in July 2007, Bimschleger has led Raymarine in not only strengthening channel relationships, but also achieving positive sales results in a challenging market.
Bimschleger follows Terry Carlson, whose successful five-year tenure at Raymarine was highlighted by the consistent introduction of innovative, award- winning products. Terry will be assuming a new leadership role within the marine industry. Terry Carlson's resignation as CEO of Raymarine, Inc. will be effective as of February 1, 2008.

Prior to joining Raymarine, Bimschleger was vice president of sales at JLA Home, a global company specializing in home textile products, where he successfully led the sales team in developing new customer business, growing business at current customers, creating new product strategies and building strong customer partnerships. Prior to JLA Home, Bimschleger held executive sales roles with several high-profile companies, including Dyson, Inc., Polaroid Corporation, Evenflo and Kraft Foods, Inc.
Bimschleger received a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
