NEC Tokin's tantalum capacitors with ultra-low ESR & lead-free types now available from Components Bureau
9th May, 2004
NEC Tokin's latest series of ultra-low ESR tantalum capacitors are now available from Components Bureau. Designated NeoCapacitor, the PS/L series feature a new 15mW ultra-low ESR model perfectly suited to decoupling and noise reduction.
Available in 2.2uF to 47uF and 4 to 10V devices, the conductive polymer capacitors feature an 18milli-Ohm model in a 7343 size and an ultra-small 1608 size of 6.3V devices. With the ultra-low ESR, these devices will handle ripple currents 3.5 times higher than manganese tantalum capacitors.
Also now stocked is the Lead-free E/SV series providing environmentally friendly alternatives and featuring eight versions ranging from 2.5 to 35V and capacitance ranging 0.47uF to 680uF. The devices are designed to allow easy replacement from alternatives with lead in their construction.
Recently appointed as franchised distributor for NEC Tokin, the deal means that Components Bureau will stock a wide range of the Company's products. In addition, Components Bureau will have access to the full range of products, including EMC suppression products, chokes, inductors and lithium ion batteries, etc.
Components Bureau Limited is a leading distributor of capacitors, LEDs and displays, connectors and other passive components. Established since 1985, it represents many major component manufacturers including Rubycon, Nichicon, Jamicon, Methode, Kingbright, NEC Tokin, etc.
