LAI Wins Manufacturing Contracts for Land-Based Gas Turbine Components
12th October, 2008

LAI International, Inc., strategic supplier of precision components and sub-assemblies for original equipment manufacturers has announced it has secured contract awards for manufacturing land-based gas turbine machinery.

LAI uses proprietary milling technology to process more than 1,000 of the static gas turbine components used in power generating plants for a leading original equipment manufacturer.

"LAI has proven its success in manufacturing these non-rotating sub- assemblies for several years, and now we have been asked by our customer to take on more of the value chain," Darcy Dodge, Director of Strategic Products for LAI, said. "We will continue to leverage our advanced manufacturing technology to meet our customer's quality, delivery and cost requirements."

The contracts are expected to be valued at more than $6 million over the next two years.
